Kirby Hall

The majestic Kirby Hall is one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture to be found in England. Building commenced in the late 16th century and progressively over the centuries Kirby Hall’s grand structure has been restored to its former grandeur with the Great Hall and state rooms still in tact.

Kirby Hall has, throughout history, been a place of cutting edge architecture and design. Its décor and gardens have consistently been maintained to impeccable standards. Kirby Hall has also been the setting for a TV adaptation of Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park (199) and also 2005 hit comedy ‘Cock & Bull Story’ starring Steve Coogan.

This is a great location for a day trip and a wonderful example of Northamptonshire’s rich history and stunning stately homes, all within easy reach of the Holiday Inn Corby-Kettering hotel.
